Story:

Text provided by the architect:

This villa is located in Fars Province, near the Ghareh Aghaj River. Therefore, it is named “River Villa.”
There is a slope of about 9 meters between the entrance of the garden and the location where the villa was built. The villa is placed at the top to have a view of the river. Its pool is designed with an open view of the river and is surrounded by windows.
A wide terrace is designed on the second floor. Horizontal and vertical frames are symbolic components of this project.

The process of this project was shaped by sketches, which determined the form and function of the villa by considering its spectacular context.

At first, the roof of the first floor was pushed outward to create shade for the bedrooms. Then, one cubic area of the second floor was removed to make space for a wide terrace, which also provided access to the roof.
A sitting area is designed on the outdoor terrace, which has an eye-catching view of the river.

The pool is located on the ground floor with windows that have a view of the river, and it is combined with a sauna and bar.

The pool has two views: one toward the river and the other toward the garden. However, because its depth is -2 meters, there is no view from outside to the inside.
Apart from that, when people stand on the top floor, all of the surrounding nature can be seen.

The materials of this villa include steel, microcement, and wood. The horizontal and vertical frames are built from steel.
White is the color of the microcement, while the steel frames are gray.
