One example of how detailed design thinking and industrial design considerations can improve architectural qualities is through the use of glass balustrades with aluminum. Glass balustrades are a popular choice for modern villas because they provide an unobstructed view while still providing safety and security. However, using glass alone can be expensive and difficult to install.

Aluminum frames can be prefabricated off-site and then assembled on-site, reducing construction time and costs. The Villa magazine is thrilled to announce that the winners of the Comma Design Competition 2023 will be revealed this Wednesday, June 28, 2023. The announcement will take place in cooperation with Comma System and will be attended by the esteemed jury panel and shortlisted competitors.
