This villa is conceived as a spatial narrative organized along a clear linear axis. The entire villa is structured as a sequence of gradually expanding spaces, beginning from the narrow width of the entry ramp and unfolding progressively toward the generous, square-shaped living area at the opposite end. This spatial transition—from a stretched rectangle to a defined square—is not only a formal gesture but also a conceptual one: the villa choreographs movement from compression to release, guiding the inhabitant through a subtle spatial journey.
The exterior expression of the project is intentionally minimal. In one of its façades, the villa presents itself as a single monolithic wall pierced by only one window. This solitary opening is positioned with precision directly opposite the work desk inside, framing a controlled view of the landscape.
The entrance ramp, long and narrow, establishes the initial spatial rhythm. Its constrained proportions intentionally slow down the approach, heightening one’s awareness of the architecture and the surrounding landscape. As the visitor moves forward, the width of the interior spaces incrementally increases. Each zone along the linear spine is calibrated according to its functional requirements while remaining loyal to the overall gradient of expansion. Rooms such as the kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom widen step by step, creating a measurable sense of growth within the architectural experience. This sequence culminates in the main living room—a large, square volume that serves as the spatial and emotional anchor of the project. Here, the villa releases all the compression accumulated along the path, offering a sense of openness and calm.
