Story:
Text editorial:
Located in Gilan province, Lahijan, the brief was to design two houses for two families, Lay in two plots of 2420 m2, an area of 750 m2 on the hillside of the Kateshal village.
The scheme started with two design principles:
Simplicity & Transparency.
The villa’s building type evolved from a simple rectangular volume to an L-shaped to take full advantage of the stunning view of the surrounding nature. The two houses are placed on the opposite sides of an elongated plot while leveraging the sloping terrain. A connecting platform in the two houses provides a playing/sharing platform to enjoy “villa life” and fulfil “villa purposes”.
