#Woman_Life_Freedom
More than two months have passed since the disastrous death of #Mahsa_Amini, and the people's protests against the state of #freedom and #social_justice in Iran continue with the slogan of #Woman_Life_Freedom.
#Villa_Magazine continues to be with people (like in the past), and it manifests pragmatic initiatives in dealing with issues.
The Villa Magazine is keen to persuade the authorities of the vital importance and necessity for fundamental reform in the current architectural design educational system. The Villa Magazine has conducted several architecture workshops—beyond the institution of the university—where it has attempted to [un]learn the design of the built environment, i.e. in real Design-Build Projects with real clients, since 2015.
The Villa Magazine has introduced a new model of the workshop(s) to send a critical message to the Iranian formalistic educational dogma system, which is detached from the profession and from societal realities & needs.
The Villa Magazine acknowledges the need for a paradigm shift: an unconventional, unorthodox, archetype model to successfully meet the challenges of the 21st Century’s Post-Pandemics, in merging the unmergeable; bridging the gap between heart and mind, cultures and people; bridging the gap between ecology and technology, nature and money, bridging the gap between politics and economy, bridging the gap between city and health, bridging the gap between the seemingly
contradictory goals like efficiency and resilience, collaboration and competition, and diversity and coherence.
