One Hundred Outstanding Villa Ideas Preserved in the Book Top 100 Works of the First Villa Award

The winners and finalists of the inaugural national villa competition, titled the Grand Villa Award 2021, gathered to celebrate the unveiling of the book Top 100 Works of the First Villa Award.

The unveiling ceremony of Top 100 Works of the First Villa Award took place, showcasing the culmination of one hundred exceptional ideas from the first edition of this villa competition. The event was attended by one hundred architects and firms whose works were featured in the book, alongside prominent Iranian architects, designers, and leaders of renowned construction brands. It was held on Friday, October 4, 2025, at the Enzo Showroom.

Ms. Fatemeh Tajik, Director of the Villa Award, welcomed the guests and briefly discussed the criteria and qualities of the award. Subsequently, Mr. Amir Abbas Aboutalebi, Editor-in-Chief of Villa Magazine, read the award’s statement and emphasized the significance of hosting this competition.

The ceremony continued with the unveiling of the book by Mr. Firouz Firouz, a veteran Iranian architect and winner of the first Villa Award, who spoke about his winning project, a villa in the desert.

Mr. Hadi Tehrani, a renowned Iranian architect based in Germany, was a special guest at the event. He delivered a short speech about one of his villa projects. Following this, Mr. Kamran Heirati and Ms. Tallan Khosravizadeh, an Iranian architectural duo whose works were published in the book, were invited to the stage to discuss their villa designs. Mr. Hooman Balazadeh, another distinguished Iranian architect, also addressed the audience.

After the speeches, all winners whose works were featured in the book gathered on stage for a group photo. The event concluded with friendly conversations among attendees, refreshments, and the creation of lasting memories through commemorative photos.

The first Villa Award, held in 2021, showcased exceptional and innovative ideas from Iranian architects. To preserve these remarkable contributions, the award’s organizing committee decided to publish a book, ensuring that the top one hundred works from the competition would be immortalized.
