The ceremony announcing the winners of the second edition of the Villa Award was held on Saturday, March 02, 2024, at the Argo Factory Cultural Complex, with the presence of leading architects and prize recipients in attendance.
This edition concluded with the recognition of outstanding works across five categories: built villas, unbuilt villas, villa interior design, villa landscape design, and villa renovation.
Contemporary Iranian architects, official architectural consultancies, independent offices, interior and landscape designers, artists, and critics submitted their work to the Villa Award Secretariat by the end of office hours on Monday, March 30, 1402, in line with the official call for entries.
A total of 675 registration request codes were recorded for this edition. The judging process was conducted in two phases—an initial independent online review and a subsequent joint in-person evaluation—ensuring transparency and clarity throughout.
The Villa Award distinguishes architectural works that make a significant contribution to contemporary Iranian architectural discourse and advancement.
Recordings of the jury speeches, delivered by Firouz Firouz, Mehrdad Iravanian, Manouchehr Seyed Mortazavi (President of the Iranian Association of Architects), and Alireza Ghahari, as well as remarks by the Villa Award director Fatemeh Tajik and the winning participants, will soon be published on the Villa_TV platform.
