Story:

The Villa was considered for two families including father and son. Even though it’s a close-knit family atmosphere, there must be a defined privacy among them. Although the entrance box was put in the middle, there is a separate circulation for each unit. The Father unit starts from the middle door while the son unit climbs up with the staircase. A vertical connection is defined in the entrance box as voids which is located in the transparent box in the middle of volume. -The location and circulation of platforms in the father’s unit The father unit is hosting a platform with a swimming pool which is located in front of the villa and looking to the garden. -The circulation of platform (terrace) in the son’s unit The son unit is taking advantages of its own terrace which is located on the first floor and looking to the garden. -Privacy Distribution -Form analysis About the form, a box plays the private spaces and the other one plays the public ones while the middle space is the connector and includes a service space. The middle space is semi transparent and the line is visually controlled by a tree. -Modular Design -Form and plan expansion The design process was based on the modular numbers and matrix which could have been developed through vertical and horizontal axis. It can expand on all the components from shaping the volume and organization of spaces in plans to the details such as openings and grids of window frame. Public space is designed according to a floated free platform that includes living room, TV set, Dining room and kitchen.Publicc space entrance is emphasized by an axis of windows and openings which let the light to define sub-spaces. On the other side of volume the private space is located and the master bed-room is taking the advantages of the garden view.
